Application Description: PrivacyLens AI is an AI-powered application designed to help users detect privacy and cybersecurity risks before sharing content online. The app allows users to paste messages, captions, emails, or other text, then analyzes whether the content contains sensitive information, risky oversharing, or details that could be misused by others. The system considers both the content itself and the intended audience, making the analysis more practical and context-aware. It can identify exposure such as personal phone numbers, travel plans, home vacancy details, identity-related information, and other forms of unnecessary public disclosure. In addition to highlighting the risks, PrivacyLens AI also explains why the content may be unsafe, provides a safer rewritten version, and recommends actions the user can take before posting or sending it. This project addresses a common but often overlooked cybersecurity issue: accidental information leakage caused by human behavior. By helping users review their content before it is shared, PrivacyLens AI promotes safer digital habits, stronger privacy awareness, and more responsible online communication. The goal is to make cybersecurity protection simple, accessible, and useful for everyday users.
