About

AWS CendekiAwan is a national-scale initiative jointly driven by AWS and Elitery to help Malaysia address its technology skills gap and improve equitable access to cloud and AI-driven learning.

Key outcomes targeted by the program include:

  • Training 20,000 students in Cloud Computing and Generative AI;

  • Enabling the creation of 200 PartyRock AI applications by students;

  • Building strong partnerships between five beneficiary universities, AWS, and industry leaders;

  • Providing sustainable access to AWS Skill Builder and PartyRock platforms to support lifelong learning.

The 200 PartyRock AI applications will be developed across five categories:

  • Smart Education

  • Digital Health

  • Sustainable Environment & Climate

  • Financial Inclusion & SME Empowerment

  • GovTech & Social Impact

National Alignment

This program is aligned with Malaysia’s Malaysia Digital Economy Blueprint, Cloud-First Policy, National AI Roadmap, and the broader Digital Transformation Agenda, supporting the development of a future-ready workforce and driving innovation for sustainable national growth.
